The Board of Directors is always open to suggestions and welcomes the input and energy of those in the county wanting to expand what we can do for business. We look forward to working with our members who wish to have a more active role in the Chamber. Please contact our office or a Chamber member and let us know that you wish to join or help the Chamber.
The Board of Directors meets at noon on the second Tuesday of each month at different locations.  Call the office for details.
The Chamber office is located in the back of the Amherst County Museum at 154 South Main Street in Amherst and is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9 - 2 and Friday, 9 - 12. The office will be closed from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month for the Chamber Board meeting.  Our phone number is (434) 946-0990 and you can leave a message. Please stop by and let us know what we can do for you!
Even though our budget is small, we have taken a proactive stance to do the most with what we have. With part-time staff and a volunteer Board of Directors, all of whom hold down full-time jobs, we have managed to advance our purpose.
The Chamber also offers relocation and travel packets as well as a fully stocked brochure area just outside the Chamber office.  A County website is available also ...
