We look forward again this year to bring you years of careful genetic selection. We share our genetic inputs with you with the hope that it helps you achieve your goals. Thank you for your past support. If this is the first year you have attended our Professional Replacement Female Sale, we look forward to having you join us for lunch and our offering.
Despite the challenges that our nation faces today, as I write this note, tremendous opportunities lay ahead with an almost certain surge in prices by the time these heifers calve. We are fortunate to be in the food business, a necessity globally. We know when the economy rebounds, high quality protein will be in big demand. We’ve never seen a year when positioning for the future is so timely. The time to upgrade to younger more productive breeding stock is now.
After last falls’ drought and depleted hay stocks, we recognize that taking advantage of these opportunities will require some strategic planning. In addition to our reputation for assistance before and after the sale, we would like to offer three additional ways to make this year’s transaction smoother.
First, we will offer viewing of all sale cattle from April 1 through the sale date of April 16. We will have extra help to confidentially handle bids by telephone or in person if you are unable to attend.
Second, taking advantage of these unprecedented low interest rates is sound economics. We have secured arrangements with our bank, if you choose, to finance your purchases to allow them to line up with this year’s cash flow. Call us in advance if you would like to utilize this opportunity to get pre-qualified.
Third, so that your grass can stockpile at home, if you wish you may leave your heifers here for three weeks at no additional charge. We look forward to sharing our burger and having fellowship with you on April 16th. We want you to take some great females home with the knowledge that you leave our farm as trusted friends...
Moving forward together,
